Production time

Standard production is about 2 weeks from the moment you approve your mockup (faster turnaround available with express shipping). Production does not begin until approval, so the clock starts when you say yes, not when you first enquire.

Artwork is laid out on the actual cut line of the teardrop rather than on a rectangular artboard, because the closed curve crops the corners of any rectangular layout and narrows toward the point; where type will not fit it is repositioned down the flag rather than reduced into the tip, and buyers are told plainly that a teardrop carries a smaller legible print area than a rectangle or blade of the same height, with the alternative shape recommended where the brief calls for it; a flag is only described as double sided when it is two printed panels with an opaque blockout liner sewn between them so that both faces read correctly and neither ghosts, and single-ply construction is described as printing through with a mirrored reverse; every quotation specifies the base for the surface the flag will actually stand on – a cross base indoors, a ground spike on grass, and a weighted or water-filled base on hard standing with the mass stated as a figure rather than described as weighted; venue height limits are requested before artwork is approved; and teardrop kits are described as portable event flags rather than permanent installations, with pole kits, bases and spares sold separately so that a rebrand requires a new flag rather than a complete kit.

Express turnaround

If you are working to an opening, a wedding or an event date, tell us the date when you request the quote. Express turnaround is available on most products and we will confirm in writing whether your date is achievable before you pay.

Delivery

Orders ship from the United States by ground carrier, with transit typically running 2–5 business days depending on distance. You receive tracking as soon as the shipment leaves. Expedited air service is available on request.

Addresses and split shipments

Double-check your shipping address before approval — carriers charge to redirect a shipment in transit and we pass that cost through at cost. We can split one order across multiple locations; just tell us the breakdown when you order.

Lost or damaged shipments

If tracking stalls or a carton arrives damaged, contact us with photos and we will open the carrier claim and reprint or refund the affected portion. You do not have to deal with the carrier yourself.
